Qigong or qi gong pronounced “chee’ gong is a very ancient set of healing movements to bring balance back in to our bodies, minds and spirits. There is documents evidence that it is over 4,000 years old. Some even believe it is referenced over 7,000 years ago in China.

Qigong is the mother of Tai Chi, and similar in ways to yoga. These all use movements, breathing and focus to move energy around in our systems.Spring Forest Qigong is a very simple system.
Qigong has many forms some for martial arts, some for healing, some for fun. So there is walking gigong, sleeping qigong, eating qigong, meditating qigong, sexual qigong. and the list goes on. Qigong means “qi” mean energy. “Gong” means to cultivate, move, alter, condition or similar translations. So Qigong means moving energy.
How to move it? Move it into what? To do this you need to know what you want. Tell the energy what you want it to do.
